    BTI Partners originated in the late 1950’s when Arthur Breakstone began building single family homes. Shortly thereafter, the business grew to include developing multifamily communities and operating hotels. In the late 1980’s, Noah Breakstone, Arthur’s son, took over management of the company and successfully led the expansion of BTI’s operations to include luxury homebuilding, condominium development and strategic land investment.

    Beginning in 2010, BTI Partners and its institutional partners acquired more than $650 million of debt secured by improved land and has monetized these investments through outright sales to national homebuilders, self-preformed developments or by forming joint ventures with local builders. The 8,000 acres that were owned or controlled through these investments are planned to be transformed into approximately 17,000 new residential units.
