The Real Deal reports that BTI Partners and Bridge Investment Group acquired the historic Bread Building at 1747 Van Buren Street in Hollywood for $11 million.
The developers plan to demolish the 11-story 1969 structure and construct an apartment building with 362 market-rate units and 16,000 square feet of retail. The project qualifies as an Opportunity Zone investment.
The iconic “Hollywood Bread Building” sign will be preserved. The acquisition represents part of a larger $500 million investment in Young Circle, including plans for a mixed-use complex at the adjacent Young Circle Shopping Center.
