GrowthSpotter reports that national homebuilder Lennar acquired 323 residential lots for approximately $10.77 million within the Crossprairie master-planned community in Central Florida. This purchase positions Lennar as the fifth builder within the 1,400-acre development, alongside Jones Homes, Meritage Homes, M/I Homes, and Beazer Homes.
The Lennar development will incorporate a combination of townhomes and single-family residences in the ED-2 neighborhood section. CEO Noah Breakstone commented that Central Florida is experiencing rapid growth, putting significant pressure on an already tight housing market. He emphasized how BTI Partners’ strategy of acquiring substantial land tracts and developing infrastructure enables homebuilders to accelerate construction timelines and expand housing availability.
