The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority invited public participation in selecting between two architectural designs for support piers on a proposed 1.9-mile Lee Roy Selmon Expressway extension.
The $200-million project will span Gandy Boulevard toward the Gandy Bridge, running adjacent to the concurrent Westshore Marina District development. Construction was expected to be completed by fall 2020.
