The retail section of the Westshore Marina District remained in motion despite construction pauses from April through July during the coronavirus crisis. Developer BTI Partners made the decision to suspend work “out of an extreme abundance of caution,” according to Britney Mroczkowski, the firm’s vice president of retail development.

The 52-acre Westshore Marina District, located near Westshore and Gandy boulevards, encompasses luxury residences, townhomes, and two rental properties. Marina Landings, a 23,962-square-foot retail hub within the district, retained all tenants who had signed leases before the pandemic struck.
